When compared to combustion based heat, the Sun Twin GEN3 1500 heaters can make you healthier. That is because, unlike other heating sources, it will not reduce humidity or oxygen in the room. Typical heating sources reduce humidity which dries out your sinuses, makes you more susceptible to disease and makes your skin dry. With other heating sources, you'll notice that you get sleepy when the heat comes on because they are burning up oxygen.

Combustion based heaters can heat rooms unevenly with most of the heat concentrated high in the room and to the center of the room. Like the EdenPURE Heater, the advanced space-age Sun Twin GEN3 1500 Quartz Infrared Portable Heaters heat the room more evenly, wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling Also, as you know, portable heaters only heat an area a few feet around the heater. With the Sun Twin GEN3 1500, the temperature will not vary greatly in any part of the room. Unlike other heating sources, the Sun Twin GEN3 1500 cannot put poisonous carbon monoxide into a room or any type of fumes or any type of harmful radiation. The GEN 3 can be run on “Auto” mode; if the mode is set to "Auto" the unit will cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature setting.  It is also equipped with a “HIGH” mode; if the mode is set to "High" the unit will stay on Full power at the highest heat setting and keep heating.  It will not cycle off on "High" mode.

When the GEN 3 is set on the “Auto” mode and cycling off and on, it has been equipped with an Energy Savings feature.  The unit will run on full power until it gets to within 2 degrees of the desired temperature.  At this point it will automatically go into an energy savings mode which shuts down 2 of the heating elements and lowers the fan speed.  Not only will this save energy, it also keeps the room temperature closer to the desired temperature.  If the room temperature should fall below 2 degrees the unit will return to the full power mode until the desired temperature is reached again.
